As an architect, I had previously built in the new town of St Quentin en Yvelines and designed the public golf course of the same name. I had also, at the request of my fellow Urban Planners and Archi
tects of the New Town of St Quentin, designed a 36-hole golf course, on land that they wanted to preserve as a "green door", only so that it would appear on all the overall plans and avoids any pressure to build this surface.
