The AMD Academy of Fashion & Design forms the design department of the private Fresenius University. With locations in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Wiesbaden (starting in 2019), Munich and Berlin, AMD is
one of the largest private universities in Germany and, together with the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences, is based in Idstein. Accredited courses as well as training and further education programs in the areas of design, fashion, communication and industry-specific management are part of their educational offering.
