| Our practice-based learning approaches have been developed to reflect the aims of each programme of study and to ensure that opportunities exist for students to develop and apply theoretical knowledge, consolidate and extend practical skills, refine problem solving and clinical reasoning abilities, and advance a reflective approach to professional practice. PrBL is designed to prepare students for future practice by equipping them with the skills and knowledge to respond to the demands of the ever-changing practice environment. Placements are carefully planned to provide each student with experience in the core areas of practice in a range of different practice settings, thus encouraging them to develop a keen sense of their role within their own respective profession. |
