The Captaincy building was built in 2003. The upper floor, from which the Port is dominated in its entirety, houses the new offices, a small reception area and the office of the Captain of the Port.
In the outdoor area, a small terrace allows direct control over the pontoons, which results in better surveillance. The ground floor of the building houses toilets, showers and changing rooms, as well as the laundry room, with coin-operated washers and dryers. They are state-of-the-art machines that allow great savings in water and energy.
