The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania (RYCT) is proud of its achievements over almost 135 years of service to yachting and the community. In that time the RYCT has grown from a club established to support
the needs of a group of dedicated sailors running yacht races on the River Derwent through to today, now servicing thousands of sailors and jointly managing, with the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, one of the world’s greatest blue water classics the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. But it’s not all about racing, with regular cruising and social events, junior sailing programs, training and education opportunities, plus excellent function facilities and a delicious Bistro menu.
